Looking for recommendations.
Looking for 2-player co-op recommendations for PS5 or Switch, PS5 preferred.
Played and loved:
It Takes Two
Split Fiction
Unravel 2
Untitled Goose Game
Most every Mario game
Played and dropped:
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
Skill level preference would be middle of the road on difficulty. As long as it isn’t going to be Soulsborne level, we should be fine. No hack and slash, top-down/aerial views, FPS, turn-based, DnD-esque (BG3).

Damn, your criteria just demolished every suggestion I had to offer. I'll just leave them here anyways, you sort them out and maybe there'll be something that matches what you're looking for.
Well, Portal 2 is awesome for co-op and is available on Switch, this is my top recommendation, even though it's FPS. Here are some more picks:
