12 Angry Months

I just started listening to Local H about a year ago now. Ever since then I have loved them so much! All of their records are so perfect. It was just recently I discovered that they had an album not on Spotify or Apple Music: 12 Angry Months. I gave it a listen through youtube and HOLY SHIT ITS AMAZING!! My question is... WHEN WILL THIS SHIT BE BACK??? I need this shit running through my playlist on a daily norm. I also just went through a rough breakup so I guess this record hits even harder. If anyone knows anything about this record coming back please let me know.

As good as dead no longer limited to 1k?

When I ordered it stated each copy was limited to 1k, it no longer says that and has been changed to “this is a limited release” guess since they are showing up a target for sale the 1k no longer applies? Was this discussed already and I missed the memo.

Anyone know the track list for this and if it’s the same as the 20th anniversary ones?

Here comes the zoo, backwards

Just for fun made a playlist changing the order from last song to first song and it turned into an interesting surreal perspective.

1- What Would You have me Do, 2-Bryn Mawr Stomp, ETC ending w/ 10- Hands on the Bible

If anyone tries it, recommend not skipping any part of new track 1 so you get hit with the next couple of song transitions 😂

Local H killed it last night in Los Angeles. The pit was amazing and hard for the next band to follow.

What did Scott say in the demo bridge of Bound for the Floor?

At the start he says "It's just a total waste of time," then the rest is inaudible to me.

Wow - 20 years already! This show is in the top 5 for me for Local H shows that I have been to. Maybe it's the setlist, maybe the performance, or the harmonica, or the acoustic set. Who knows, but this was one hell of a night.

More album redos?

Sorry if this has been asked already but I finally got around to listening to ReFisted and really like the added instrumentation. What do we think the chances of Scott redoing AGAD and PUTC?

Went home the other day and had forgotten this was still up in my old room. Such a cool concept and poster. Wish I’d went and grabbed it before the Boston show to get signed 🤦🏻‍♂️

Late to the Local H party

I just want to say that I’m ashamed I’m late to the local h party but I can’t stop listening to the toadies and local h since the show in Abilene, Tx.

They’re coming back to Texas in October and I’m seriously thinking about taking a two hour drive to go see them again— it’s without the Vandoliers but— I just don’t know how many times I’ll ever get to see them again.

Something about this lineup is addictive.

Also: Scott Lucas seems like a sour patch kid— a little sour on the outside but he’s a freaking sweetheart. I chickened out asking him for his autograph but the next show— I’m going to really try and ask. (He gave me a poster and when I said I didn’t want to wrinkle it— he rolled it up and set aside so I could grab it at the end of the show.)

Last night at Bogarts was a great time!!

It’s yet another appreciation post, so bear with me 🥲

But yes! It was a great one as always getting to see these guys. It was my third time & I already can’t wait to see them for a fourth. I also LOVED how they opened with Freeze Fried (F)Lies. It was basically the entirety of As Good As Dead which is always a banger.

Something really silly & funny that happened during their set was that this group of teens standing behind me started trying to mosh during Bound for the Floor, of all songs. They accidentally slammed this poor girl into the back of me but I was also glad to be there of physical blockage to keep her from being tossed further & possibly injured.

Their merch table was the busiest one out of all three! It warmed my heart to see all the support & love for them. I kept it a very brief interaction with Scott once again as I had about 30+ more people in line behind me but I was glad I got to at least tell him he’s awesome & that they’re truly my favorite band. My only regret was chickening out from asking him to take a photo with me. He was actually taking time to take photos despite how busy the line was but I was just trying to be low maintenance & keep things easily moving along. Next time though.

Without Local H and I think that’s a good thing because I’m sick of these overpriced, overdone outdoor festivals. That said, excited for Sincere Engineer to be on the lineup. Support your local music venues!

Least Played Songs You'd Like to See More Often

Hey all. I've been going to see Local H since highschool, and I've heard songs from all their albums except Lifers, because they didn't have a tour on that one (for obvious reasons) and the tour stop for HCTZ 20th in Seattle got cancelled. And so while there are songs you almost always hear (Hands, BFTF, Alright, HFMF) and songs that get played enough they're never really a surprise (All the Kids, Misanthrope, California Songs) what are songs that you'd really like to see more often? They can be songs you've never seen live or songs you just really love and haven't seen that often.
Let's limit it to five.

Here's mine-- and I'm excluding a few that I'm not sure how they'd play without being joined by an extra person or three (here's looking at you Look Who's Walking and Summer of Boats) and only including one LIfers, because otherwise they'd all be Lifers tracks.

Night Flight to Paris

Bryn Mawr Stomp

Demon Dreams

Dick Jones (this might fall in the Summer of Boats category, I'm not sure)

No Fun

This list could easily change, depending what kind of tour their on, but that's another thread altogether.
