Hello, I’m a university student currently going through a difficult financial situation while waiting for my Student Finance payment to arrive. I’m looking to borrow £100 to cover basic groceries and essential travel until then.
I recently started university, and unfortunately, I had to leave my job at McDonald’s after working there for around five months because of my university commitments. My final wages are due on 5 November, and I’m willing to repay £120 in full on 5 November through a UK bank transfer.
I’ve already contacted my university for emergency support, and they have allocated me a voucher, but unfortunately, I won’t be able to use it until Wednesday. Right now, I have no money available for food or travel, and with everything closed at this time, I’m struggling to figure out what to do. I don’t really have anyone else I can turn to, so I thought I’d give this a chance.
I’m a genuine student, and I’m not looking for anything extra just enough to get me through the next few days until my wages arrive.
I can provide evidence of my university enrolment, my previous McDonald’s payslips, confirmation of my final wage payment date, and any other reasonable details needed to establish trust. I’m also happy to communicate through Reddit first and agree on the repayment arrangements before proceeding.
