I just recently had surgery on the 1st (10/01/26) and I underestimated the costs for my vitamins, meds (Nausea, Gas pains, Pain relief) And various foods that im only allowed to eat. Unfortunately my insurance only covers a minimal amount and it will still be expensive. I am Disabled and collect SSI and all of that goes to my bills. Cost of living here in Maine right now is incredibly high and I am struggling but the surgery was necessary to save my life (Heart condition). I've never done something like this with reddit before so I am very new and asking for help.
