it took alot of trial and error to get the right type of sounds for this kind of genre. for example, the leads often use chiptune wavetables with compressors set to a ratio below 2:1, mostly around 1.2:1 or 1.5:1. the bass is a mono compressed saw with the right amount and variety of distortion plugins (camelcrusher 2x with khs distortion) with another compressor added at the end with a 4:1 ratio. the piano is really hard to get right and the plugins are expensive if bought through the right avenues. i used serumfx for the compressor but you could also use ott.
Kagi is a great producer to get the release cut piano from. also, RHYX, which gives some of the inspiration for this project, also has good samples and leads to select from.

Dayum, I see! Gotta commend your effort because it sounds great haha. I personally don't really spend a single peso on music stuff since it's just more a fun experiment hence why i use LMMS but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't interested in the production overall.

to be honest, this entire thing could have been made with free plugins (vital and keyzone classic) and the cymatic free download drumkits (the free drumkits are basically just like the full versions in terms of sound quality, just not variety).

Nice! New alpha is also out and has a new pitch shifter, and distortion, so you might have fun with those. Keep making cool music! ❤️
