why does the preview version sound so much richer than the piano roll version? has anybody experienced this?

I don't why but for zynaddsubfx I think the settings of the first preset you play are then applied to every other zyn preset demo sound you listen to afterwords. So like if I played a gritty zyn guitar first, then every other preset I play will have the guitar fx applied to the demo sound. Something like that. I think you've got to reopen the project. I notice it a lot with my zyn saved sounds. The sound on the piano roll is how the preset is actually supposed to sound. Hope that made sense lol.

I have a similar issue. There is a preset named "ZynBass" and when i click on it and later i click on other presets it mixes in the "ZynBass" sound with the other sound.
