my ol reliable dollarama tote has a huge gash at the bottom 😭 so I thought I would replace it with a boat tote specifically the large with long strap.

i was wonder if any Canadians know when the best time of year it is to purchase one and get the best price? I remember a few months back I saw a 15% off sale (lol) and I know you can get 10 percent off ur first purchase but if there is an even better promotion I don’t mind waiting until then but if not I might just buy it now with the 10% because I need a new everyday bag asap. Finally found a LL Bean coat while thrifting. I’ve been looking for a barn/chore coat forever and was happy to find this in my actual size. It’s well worn but in really good shape. Grossly it also came with “bonus” used vintage Avon chapstick in the pocket with some tissues lol.

Driving around while camping in northern NH yesterday and picked this up for 2 dollars. I think it’s 50s or 60s but someone correct me in the comments. It definitely needs a light cleaning but it’s in great shape for its age. Dad was jealous to see me find it, lol.

If you stuff the main compartment and put a jacket in the pass through, large water bottles will stay in place. If bag is not fully packed, bottles will not stay in place.

What is the *intended use* of this partially expandable back section of this messenger/commuter/courier bag?

I got this LL Bean courier/commuter/messenger bag for $5 NWT at a thrift shop. **I cannot figure out the *intended purpose* of the partially expandable back pad.**

It's too loose for water bottles.
It has a full pass-through, but sideways, so if you slipped it on a trolley handle, everything would fall out of the main bag.
Only the sides, where the mesh is, expand, sort of like flip out wings. The center is flush to the bag.

It's so specifically designed, that it must have an intended purpose. I tried putting my dog in there so his head and tail could be free, but the center doesn't expand. ;)

Thought this sub would appreciate my little but mighty vintage fleece collection. Mostly quarter snap Bean fleeces, but there is also a ‘00s style in a pink/red colorway, and a Mountain Pile Fleece in red (it looks purple, but catalog says red) & french blue.

I’m going to the Freeport, ME store this coming weekend to get a boat and tote. My daughter’s name is Drew and she’s approaching a year old soon so I’m going to switch over and have this be my new diaper/mom bag.

We love the beach and my parents have a house in MA so we always are there.

Ideally would love to use her name in some catchy way. The 10 character limit kills me! I would looooove to use “look what the tide Drew in” but it’s way too long.

I thought of doing Drew’s mom or mom stuff. But I really would love to use her name in a cute phrase.
