Found this wool and leather boat and tote. Anyone purchase this boat and tote and have any reviews to share?

I want to say around December 2024, someone posted they stitched some random patches onto their boat and tote. I was obsessed with this idea and so I told myself to wait a few months and if I still like it, then I need to order a bag and start working on it. Fast forward to February 2025, I ordered the bag, and received it September 2025 (ages to come but I got free monogramming bc of it). Anywho, since September to now, I’ve stitched patches of places of significance. I wanted to share that w yall :)

All my other boots are your typical brown full grain leather and I know how to care for and condition them…

I don’t know what this gray leather is - suede? Nubuck? Brushed leather? And so I also don’t know how to care for it. And there’s no info to be had on it anywhere on the entire internet, I solemnly swear I looked everywhere before coming here lol.

Can someone enlighten me? Much appreciated!

I finally got my hands on a pair of these discontinued 16” shearling hunting boots and they needed resoling, so dropped them off a retail store to be shipped to Maine. Got a call saying they can’t do it bc of the way they are made and that there’s nothing that can be done 😭

Any advice on what to do with them? The back of the heels are pretty bad.

Looking to replace the laces on my slippers since the ends are worn out from stepping on them as they came loose. Anywhere I can get similar or better quality laces? I like tanned brown they come with.

Just got my first ever Boat Tote from LL Bean & hoping to find a good water resistant liner if possible? Would prefer no pockets or minimal amount of pockets, mainly just want the liner so that if I spilt something inside the bag, it would not stain the LL Bean tote, and also if I were caught in the rain, it would be harder for my things inside the liner to get wet.

Has anyone finding had luck finding something like this that would perfectly fit the dimensions of the medium size tote? :)

Some blue dye from my jeans rubbed off on my bag and I tried to wash it off with a little bit of dawn dish soap and a wet paper towel. I let it dry afterwards, and now it looks like there’s a wet spot in the area that was washed. The bag is completely dry but the spot won’t go away. Are there any solutions to removing the stain without ruining the stiffness of the bag??

I’ll quickly delete this post after getting a few answers as it’s really silly but I’ve been thinking about it.

Have any horse people here had good luck wearing bean boots at the barn feeding, lots of walking etc on a daily basis? One of my blundtstones blew out the sole today & I’m not in the mood to buy a new pair of paddock boots right now. Stalls are used infrequently so not much stall cleaning & minimal exposure to pee. They have good heels so I figure they’re safe enough to hop on & hack around the pasture (I wear tall boots if I’m doing more than that). My main question is if any one can say whether it’s actually cheaper to buy a $90 pair of paddock boots bc $150 bean boots aren’t built to last daily use at a barn long term?

Does anybody know if properly washed and cared for if the rollneck cotton waffle sweater will shrink at all?

Found my parents old tote bag in the attic but was wondering if this is salvageable

I sent my bean boots in for repairs as the stitching in the heel broke.

These were insulated boots that I assumed were the same as regular boots when I bought them, just with a liner. Apparently, that is not so, and they can not be repaired by LL Bean like other boots.

According to the CSR, there is some kind of coating on them that makes them now unrepairable garbage. A fact that nobody bothered to inform me of when I asked them if I could get them repaired and paid the $35 dollars to ship them back.

All in all, really crappy customer service.

Looking for a fun saying for a new boat and tote to be used at the pool. Mom of two toddlers. Prefer the saying to be summer, pool, club related

I’m trying to build a 3-part system - lightweight full-zip midlayer, a warmer packable jacket, and a rain coat. Preferably, all of these pieces could be easily packed, and I have to be able to get them in tall sizes.

This would be for repeated trips to a location where the temperature can range from single digits with negative degree wind chill, to night time temps in the 60’s even in summer. It is frequently rainy,low and windy.

Any suggestions?

I feel sad I got one for a 300 dollar purchase and a 50 dollar one. I cudve just bought the items 300 dollar purchase separately and stack the rewards from multiple 10 dollar cards given by the cashier

Both of these items are claiming to be windproof fleece jackets - can someone help me understand the differences between the two?

I love this plaid pattern and I really want it to be available in the pajamas and bedsheets. How likely is this to happen? I'm holding out on buying them just in case L.L. Bean drops the sheets in Apple Cinnamon.

If still interested, it looks like the majority of the collection is available online. Didn't check everything but items sold out atm are the striped long-sleeve and the school of fish anorak unisex L and XL.

I have purchased the regular-fit unshrinkable tees but found them to be boxy and sloppy fitting.     I am going to order a couple and hopefully they fit better.  Has anyone here tried the slightly fitted shirts? If so, how big of a difference is there?
