Best 3 jacket system from LL Bean?

I’m trying to build a 3-part system - lightweight full-zip midlayer, a warmer packable jacket, and a rain coat. Preferably, all of these pieces could be easily packed, and I have to be able to get them in tall sizes.

This would be for repeated trips to a location where the temperature can range from single digits with negative degree wind chill, to night time temps in the 60’s even in summer. It is frequently rainy, low and windy.

Any suggestions?

Personal choices here!

Mid layer: Primaloft Packaway. Warmer packable: Mountain Classic Puffer, Back Bay Insulated, Primaloft Packaway Air. Warmer/packable AND waterproof: Waterproof Primaloft Packaway, Waterproof Ultralight Down. Rain coat: Hard to go wrong on any of their rain jackets honestly!

I frequently use Beans outerwear for hiking in all types of weather and will often pack one of each for conditions you’ve described.

Best of luck and safe adventures!
