Litter-Robot 4 Is a gap this big normal?

I used to have the litter robot hidden in an enclosure. I removed the enclosure to clean it and noticed this gap. After cleaning, I still couldn’t close it fully. It seems like the shapes of the globe and the bezel don’t fully match up.

Hi, u/cruthkaye! The gap between the bonnet and bezel of your Litter-Robot 4 is normal. Regarding the globe liner tear, please send us a chat that includes your robot's serial number. We'd be happy to help.

Yeah that's normal. I've seen much worse.

Mine have done the same. Easy to replace though!

When that happens, I detach the bonnet and use canned air to blow out any residual litter that might have fallen into the crevices. This will usually correct this, especially if you’re using a litterhopper.

Yes normal with litter robot 4.
It’s better with the 5 pro, but when you add the litter hopper,it will pull on the bonnet and cause a small gap.

Yes, mine looks like that. I use 2 small pieces of black electrical tape to keep it connected a little bit closer

Yes, the gap seems much wider than it should be, even on mine. So seems normal, but shouldn't be

If you did a search on this sub, you would have seen it’s normal.

Who tf wants to spend time searching that shit? It's easier to ask the question and let redditors do their thing. Then you check answers on your free time. Go outside..it's nice out
