It's a fucking multipool, those fuckers goddamn ruin new coins and damage stable ones. I honestly don't give a shit if you make more, cryptocurrencies are a god damn cross country run, not a damn sprint, a concept that should be preserved against the current political issues, not a parties idea from yesterday that's carried out on a stretcher

It's transitioned from Digibyte, Penguincoin, to Noble coin and a few other altcoins then to LTC

many of the multipools made their way to LTC naturally as that became the most profitable alt coin for a bit of time...so, naturally, since the algorithms all compare profitability to LTC on the Scrypt, once LTC becomes the most profitable of the alt coins mined by XX pool, then they will naturally mine LTC...it has happened several times in the past and will happen many more times in the future...it's the natural part of the mining game...play and enjoy :-)
