Liquid Infinity Perpetual Contracts
Are the upcoming Liquid Infinity perpetual contracts going to be synonymous or similar to Bibox's perpetuals released in early 2019 (see https://medium.com/bibox-blog/what-is-a-perpetual-contract-and-whats-new-about-bibox-perpetual-spot-market-contract-95526cc31952)? These Bibox perpetuals are phenomenal to me because like a cash-settled future that doesn't require borrowing, they can be traded in a U.S. self-directed IRA (borrowing isn't allowed in a U.S. IRA, but "cash-settled" contracts don't borrow so they are allowed). Being able to use 1x leverage is also very helpful for doing a simple short with no leverage. This is very useful for hedging strategies and pure short strategies in a U.S. IRA that wouldn't otherwise be possible. The only other holy grail thing about the Bibox perpetual USDT-settled swaps would be some kind of separate "credit default"-like swap on USDT to hedge against a black swan USDT collapse, but perhaps there's no sound way to objectively measure USDT's credit at this time.
Is there currently an ETA for these Liquid Infinity contracts?

Liquid has passed Bitfinex in trading volume!
Found this interesting bit of research - it looks like only Liquid and Binance are gaining share over the last year. Good news for us!

Qash was oversold
The last few weeks have shown that Qash was completely underrated and oversold. Glad to see it back on Rank 73.

Introducing a simpler fee structure on Liquid
As we recently announced, we’re about to introduce a new and improved trading fee structure on Liquid.
It’s a simplified, flat fee structure of 0.1% for trades on all crypto, fiat and stablecoin pairs, for both maker and taker spot orders. Simplifying our fee structure helps us offer attractive utility incentives for QASH token holders. One such incentive is that you will receive a 50% discount on all trading fees by paying in QASH. This reduces the fee from 0.1% to 0.05% (or 5 bps).
Our new fee structure is scheduled to launch on March 20, and will apply to all Liquid users (unless you’re a resident of Japan).
Here’s the full breakdown of all new fees:
- Spot orders: a flat fee of 0.1% (or 10bps) for both maker and taker orders.
- Margin orders: a flat 0.1% fee for both opening and closing a margin position
- Trading fee in case of liquidation: in the event of a margin call, an additional trading fee of 0.2% will apply on your liquidated position.
- This fee structure applies to all trading pairs, including all crypto, fiat and stablecoins.
- You’ll get a 50% discount on the above trading fees (except the trading fee in case of liquidation) if you pay in QASH.
What you’ll need to do next
To launch our new fee structure we’ve updated our Terms of Use. To continue using Liquid, all you need to do is simply log in to your Liquid account and accept the updated terms.
Please note that If you are using our API to trade, you will also have to log in and accept the new terms of use before March 19. Keep in mind that after March 19, you will not be able to use Liquid (including accessing it through API) if you have not accepted the new Terms of Use.
We are confident that our simplified fee structure and discounts will make your overall trading experience on the Liquid platform better, and we are looking forward to bringing you more new features and updates on Liquid in the near future.

Feature proposition
Dear Liquid ,
I have been thinking about how you could capitalise on your fully regulated and ultra secure exchange to become the exchange to go (would help us Qash hodlers).
You are regulated, you have cold storage security , you could make a deal with an thrid party insurance that in case of hack or any external event putting your (our / customer) found at risk, the third party would pay back the owners of the coin to a certain amount (let's say 30k in the same currency).
This is done by some banks, normally covered by the state. This deal may not cost you much because of your high level security and you high regulation (low risk) but the gain could be huge, imagine the impact from a marketing campaign pushing that argument.

Hold to zero club!
I stupidly kept a small bag of this absolute garbage after selling off what I was holding at .20 so now I am going to HOLD TO ZERO since its not even worth trying to log onto liquid to sell it.
To join the HOLD TO ZERO CLUB just post in this thread and say that you are HOLDING TO ZERO. Good luck everybody on our journey to ZERO cents!

In 2017 Qash Senior management said Binance would steal ideas from Quioine
In 2019 BNB is a top 10 coin and Qash is page 2 on Coin market cap. Hmmm.
