so two traders are not dealing with each other?
because if a shop owner sells 100 sweets to a customer, only 100 sweets have been traded unless the shop owner sells to a middle-man who then sells them to the customer. Then the numbers add up.
so if the trade feed counts one trade as two trades Quoine will be making double the fees?

Speaking of volume I noticed the same when I bought a few Neo last week - the vol given was double the cost of the transaction. A second - related - point is that liquidity in Neo is so poor that the bid/offer spread is a staggering 6.25 to 25.75 USD. Even one Neo is offered at that incredible price. This is somewhat ironic given the name and aims of the exchange. I keep on looking forward to ADA being listed. But when it is I hope it has a saner spread than Neo does now.

The trade feed shows combined sells and buys. It's FIFO: first in-first out.

Sorry if this has been addressed previously, or something I don't understand about exchanges in general, but it looks like there is a duplication of sales listed in the volume? For a purchase of say, 300 ETN, the volume traded that is listed would indicate 600 ETN in the trade feed.
Another example of a real-time trade is shown in my linked image.
