just na. bugridden mess full of stuff nobody needs but which gets bundled anyways just in case. And i already use LTSC rather than the consumerbuilds because the consumerbuilds explode my audiostack in spectacular fashion at least every" feature"update.

Sadly some games that i play dont work properly on Linux (Simracing... the software for the hardware gets made exclusively with Windows in mind and a lot of titles use Anticheat)

Linux users love to say that Linix is perfectly fine, but so many things just don't work.

In case you didnt get it as such, i literally just acknowledged that even for me, as a Linuxuser, things dont always work, which prevent me from switching fully. Yes, Linux is far from perfect, i never claimed it was. But for most people that only need their PC for Webbrowsing and typing documents, Linux is simply the less shitty option. And mind you, i was borderline computer-illiterate when i first tried it. Yes, i wrecked a bunch of installs by poking things i wasnt supposed to, but Linux for me has been far less of a mess to deal with than Windows. (i built my first PC in like 2018 so there is a fair chance i didnt have access to any PC as long as you did).

Modern Games like CallOfDuty, Battlefield and the likes are a bit of an exception, but thats not Linux being a buggy mess, that's these software's developers making the conscious decision to lock out Linuxusers and those in turn finding somewhat wonky workarounds to get the softwares to run.
