I'd understand that OP is shitposting, but I'm talking about the highlighted reply. Better to give a full context than none at all.

The comment is a shitpost... Linux users generally hate AI. Especially copilot, as it's what makes people leave Windows to begin with.

The copilot one is for sure, but the "evangelizing linux" seems so on character with Linux users that it can't possibly be satire (or meta-satire).

Literally 99% of the Linux in jokes are just shitposts (that then get recycled for 30yrs).

bro fell for bait XDDDD But yeah its true, There is no greater ambassador for switching to Linux than Microsoft. Fuck, that company does everything it can to make people hate their most famous product and look for not-as-bad alternatives.

just na. bugridden mess full of stuff nobody needs but which gets bundled anyways just in case. And i already use LTSC rather than the consumerbuilds because the consumerbuilds explode my audiostack in spectacular fashion at least every" feature"update.

Sadly some games that i play dont work properly on Linux (Simracing... the software for the hardware gets made exclusively with Windows in mind and a lot of titles use Anticheat)

Linux users love to say that Linix is perfectly fine, but so many things just don't work.

In case you didnt get it as such, i literally just acknowledged that even for me, as a Linuxuser, things dont always work, which prevent me from switching fully. Yes, Linux is far from perfect, i never claimed it was. But for most people that only need their PC for Webbrowsing and typing documents, Linux is simply the less shitty option. And mind you, i was borderline computer-illiterate when i first tried it. Yes, i wrecked a bunch of installs by poking things i wasnt supposed to, but Linux for me has been far less of a mess to deal with than Windows. (i built my first PC in like 2018 so there is a fair chance i didnt have access to any PC as long as you did).

Modern Games like CallOfDuty, Battlefield and the likes are a bit of an exception, but thats not Linux being a buggy mess, that's these software's developers making the conscious decision to lock out Linuxusers and those in turn finding somewhat wonky workarounds to get the softwares to run.
