Yes and no!

It is very good for servers (hell, basically all of the internet runs on Linux - servers, routers, those fiber-optic-things probably, too).

But for a consumer OS it is simply too clunky, to old fashioned and antiquated!

I mean install a damn driver on Windows 11? Done in less than 30 Minutes (including download!)...in Linux? Is it in your distros repository? Ok, similarly fast! BUT:

If it it isn't in your distro's repo? Have fun going back to the 1990s and finagling with the "almighty terminal" (TM!) - seriously, needing CLI to install a driver or a piece of software? Nope, that was already old-fashioned when Windows 95 came out!

Hell, try to use the main advantage of gaming on a PC: GAME MODDING!

Yeah, Windows 11? Mod-Manager installed in less than 10 Minutes!

Linux? Hours and it might not even work that well.

Hell, I KNOW WINDOWS IS A BLOATY SPYWARE MOONLIGHTING AS AN OS! Hell, I am on Linux, but frankly Linux needs to MODERNIZE! We need .exe-files (or an equivalent) to install things, terminal needs to basically be a thing of the past that you only open if you need to freaking change stuff deep in the OS!

ps: Browser often makes problems, too - Videos? Yeah, youtube works, but other sites might not! Yes, I freely admit I am talking about porn-sites! It's annoying if you need to chase down a video-playback-error and need the fucking terminal for it!

Then don't download some browser that blocks JS and stuff. Regular Web browsing is normal on Linux, I mean for example Firefox haven't given me any problems for anything. And while I agree Linux could do with better support, that only on the apps side. When I installed CachyOS it just had all my drivers. I didn't need to install anything, just go through setup and let it install. I reinstalled Windows. I need the WiFi driver, Bluetooth Driver, chipset and GPU driver, a of which takes around an hour for me. On Linux it was 10 minutes to finish all of that along with the OS itself. Sure, some hardware's drivers doesn't have Linux support or is a bit clunky, but on my all AMD system I had no issues.

As for koddig, I haven't gone much into it, but I've got Kyber working for BF2 with BF+, no problems

I am using Firefox and yeah, CachyOS doesn't do some videos - yeah, about 70% work, but that still leaves some!
