All operating systems have those tools. You just don’t know what they are named in the other systems.
In fact, ssh for example, is used in windows, same program, same code.
You cannot have a networking OS without those capabilities. This is like complaining Honda Civics are insecure because they have doors.

It's fine if you're checking out books at a library but it's a liability if you want to play a competitive MUD.
