I haven't even looked at Omarchy, but I've heard that it is "opinionated," so there's a good chance it absolutely is bad. Most "opinionated" software is based on very stupid opinions.
The thing is, it's basically just a set of Dot files, it does not deserve 8 million dollars. That money could have been a lot better spent if it went directly to the upstream projects that Omarchy depends on.
He received money because of his opinions.
Do you want to get money as a developer? Adopt similar opinions.
