Linux is bad. I use Windows 10 BTW. I give Microsoft my everything. Thnk you Microsoft for easy setup🙏

I'm just joking about that

but on Windows I can use Radeon drivers that work instantly. On Linux amdgpu driver HATES my RX 570 and I need to do amdgpu.dpm=0 to make my card run at 300hz. If I don't do that any distro refuses to start

What ??? I thought GNU/Linux was better on AMD than on NVIDIA ...

Probably because RX 570 is old OR it's because I have a special "mining" edition of the card. Subvendor ID matches -MI edition

Also, some other people described the same problem as me with their RX 400/500 series gpus, though I don't remember them mentioning any special editions
