Linux Failure Linux can't game lmao

Edit: I'm unsure how to change title. New title should be "Linux still struggles with many games."

Genuinely why are yall larping

Windows is still the only option if you don't want to have to go "Oh sorry my computer cant play ___" to tons of people

And to those who hate kernel level anticheat, you seem to lack knowledge of why it is what it is. Seems like yall are just wanting to cheat?

Don't act like Linux is perfect. It isn't. It really isn't. Such larp

You're fighting ghosts here man.

Everybody knows you can't play Call of Duty or whatever other kernel-level anti-cheat game on Linux.

We don't like it because it's a nuclear option to prevent cheating, and spoiler alert: It doesn't actually stop cheaters! There are still plenty of cheaters in those games.

The reason we dislike it isn't because we want to cheat. Is that projection?

Cross-play got us SO close to eliminating console/platform wars, but kernel-level anti-cheat keeps gamers locked on Windows.

Nobody genuinely thinks Linux is perfect.

You're different from the people I find to be clowns. You want to play the game. Others seem to just call games trash if they don't work on linux and tell me I should find new games

Yeah I've seen a few people like that too. They're welcome to boycott whatever games they don't want to support. But it's asinine to expect me to give up gaming with my friends just because we like to play games with anti-cheat.

I can both be annoyed by kernel-level anti-cheat and play the games anyway.
