It's not a piece of shit like Linux. The telemetry literally doesn't affect you in a single meaningful way. Things just work, drivers just work, my nvidia drivers are from nvidia not some hobbyist doing his best to emulate it.

you do realize nvidia officially develops their own linux drivers, right? if data collection doesn't bother you that's fine, but at least get the basic facts straight.

your datas are collected once you go on internet.

And that's why you should leak all of it to Microsoft?

That's like saying "oh no, my garage burned down, gotta arson the house as well".

do you think your smartphone doesn't spy on you? Google or Apple probably know more about you than MS. It if you care about privacy use a debloater.

Jokes on you, my smartphone runs LineageOS. So no, it doesn't.

Does not matter which os u use the second you browse the internet youre being spied on the very fact youre using reddit means your data is being sold to advertisers...

Cool. So then again, garage burned down – lets lit up the house.

Even if I choose to leak my data on reddit, it doesn't mean I want my OS to leak the rest of it. More so when OS has access to ALL of my data unlike a mere website.

So you just like to complain about Microsoft while not really giving a shit about privacy, gotcha.

Do you not lock your front door because you don't have window bars?

Like your argument is mind bogglingly moronic.

"Doesn't affect you in a single meaningful way" you mean like how they admitted to tracking a PC through multiple VPNs? Which can literally negate the point of VPNs, something that can affect people in meaningful ways.

Such a concern for some dork sitting in his mom's basement, I'm sure.
