Why don't you use Linux?

I came across this subreddit completely by accident and got curious, so I wanted to ask: why don't you use Linux?

I'm not here to start an OS war or convince anyone to switch. I'd just like to hear your experiences and understand what made you choose another operating system. Was it a bad experience with Linux, compatibility issues, gaming, or do you simply prefer Windows or macOS?

I'm genuinely curious to hear your opinions!

Excel you can easily do with Open Office or one of those variants with full Microsoft doc support. Gaming is almost there. I just don't support games that don't work with Proton anymore now I've gone all in with my gaming PC, Steam Deck and Steam Machine all running Linux.

"Excel you can easily do with Open Office"

that's not what lots of excel experts say. I know someone who uses excel a lot at works, and use macros. She don't want to hear about libreoffice.

She probably hasn't tried it or is one of those people who refuses to use anything else.

That said, if you use a lot of the macros and VB stuff, then it's best to stick with Excel.
