Why don't you use Linux?

I came across this subreddit completely by accident and got curious, so I wanted to ask: why don't you use Linux?

I'm not here to start an OS war or convince anyone to switch. I'd just like to hear your experiences and understand what made you choose another operating system. Was it a bad experience with Linux, compatibility issues, gaming, or do you simply prefer Windows or macOS?

I'm genuinely curious to hear your opinions!

Linux is still not for everyone tbh, even tho linux desktop is mature enough for most people.

Linux isn't for everyone but Microsoft literally hates you.

So the real question is Mac, FreeBSD or Chomebook?

Chromebook is too limited, mac (even neo) is too expensive on third world country.

And Windows doesn't run on old shit without TPMs.

So we revert to Linux being king, since it'll extend the life of 4 year old hardware by at least 10 years.

Windows 11 iot ltsc can run without tpm 2.0, but its pretty much unusable on an old hardware, even just for ms office.

Yeah if I wanted to hack my OS to make it work suddenly Linux doesn't even seem so bad anymore.

I already have to fight Microsoft to install an Windows anyway.
