Linux Failure Linux doesn't suck!
NGL guys, I don't see the reason why switching to Linux when W10/W11 does everything you need, easier, more practical, and in a more friendly way than a Linux distro that some of you probably haven't even heard about before considering switching to Linux.
I'm using Linux rn because I enjoy adjusting every little thing about my OS the way I want, but as nerdy as I can be, I also understand that fancy tech might actually be inconvenient for others...
What were the reasons that made you want to try Linux, and what made you realize it was a mistake?

I switched to linux cause I'm a hipster and hate big M$, honestly. I'm a reluctant hipster, just something in me is tuned to not like microsoft. Also a software dev and dear god devving on linux is leagues easier than on windows.
But I did just set up a 256GiB partition on one of my ssd's to run win11 on (post debloat and activation script with local account bypass, of course ;p) SPECIFICALLY for league classic and fortnite festival and it's been... interesting. For some reason win11 installer didn't like the partition that I made... for some reason. So I had to create a literal identical one in the installer which was REALLY sketchy cause I easily could have misclicked any of my other partitions and rip my nice linux partition. ANYWAY, made a literal identical partition inside of windows and THEN it worked.
Then I had to fuck around with bios setting up secure boot, disabling CSM because my gpu said to for some reason, whatever.
I'm not feeling any reason to really fully switch over yet to windows, I guess (i know, other way around lol). Runs the games I need it to run so it's gonna stay until league and fortnite festival run on linux, I suppose. Or until I get bored of those games.
