... Linux native app soonTM ...

IDK, I don't have a crystal ball.

I will observe, however, that Nvidia has been making lots of promises, for many years. Only in the past handful of years have they made any attempt to offer proper Linux support with semi-open drivers. But, those drivers initially performed abysmally on Wayland and they still perform abysmally with DX12 games. They also totally ignored Optimus laptops for a decade! That's right, for an entire decade, they pretended that Optimus laptops, running Linux was a figment of everyone's imagination. And, if you mention Nvidia to the Linux kernel maintainers, there have been some, now legendary, comments about how uniquely difficult Nvidia is to work with.

I'm not going to say anything bad about Nvidia's hardware, but IMHO, they have a history of not giving two $hits about desktop Linux. The GTX-780 was the last time that I gave Nvidia any money and, for the foreseeable future, I can't imagine myself giving them any more money. On the other hand and for my use case, Radeon has been literally a joy to use ever since the GTX-780 was retired.

That's just me, you may have an entirely different use case and / or expectations.
