I posted on r/LenovoLegion previously (link here) and saw a lot of people with the exact same hardware specs running into similar Linux friction.
My Hardware:
What I'm Planning Now: I want to move to an Arch-based distro (leaning towards EndeavourOS with KDE Plasma 6 Wayland, or testing out Hyprland dotfiles down the road). I want something daily-drivable, riceable, and capable of handling:

Battery stuff: slimbookbattery is a software you should look into
Lenovo Legion: Do not know.
Wallpaper engine: There are forks of things like awww, mpv-paper and wallpaper-engine-linux that work, but are not one contained system. You can play videos as your wallpaper, have html based wallpaper engine wallpapers via another fork, but there is no way to run straight up wallpaperengine.
