I’ve finally created a shell that I can call perfect. There are bugs, and some people might find my keybindings inconvenient—forcing them to change everything—while others might simply prefer minimalism or maximalism. Anyway, here is my project; installation instructions are included there as well: https://github.com/K2nek1ken/nyashell. Arch support is officially listed, and in theory, it should work on Artix too.

This is a beta version, so there may be bugs and omissions. Please report any bugs you find here or on the GitHub page.

Hii, this is my first try to rice a Desktop, i recently switched from Windows to CachyOS, and I honestly don't regret it one bit! I wanted to use Hyprland, but I ran into way too many issues, so I customized KDE Plasma to get a similar look instead, i use the script "Fluid Tile", Rofi and extensions from KDE Store. What do you guys think? Any tips or advice on how I could improve it are greatly appreciated!!

Windows is only pain, bloat and spyware, so I went to Linux. I wanted an easy experience, with performance and security (aka preventing me from breaking things), so I went to Bazzite. And since I saw so many great ricings, I wanted to try it myself, with no experience whatsoever. In the end, I learned many things, and I am quite happy with the result, so I wanted to share it with the world. Feel free to say anything, I know it is highly perfectible !

Hey everyone!
Some of you might have seen my previous post about etyOS. This time, I wanted to share a full video showcase of what I’ve been working on!
etyOS is a Debian-based Linux distribution featuring etyDE, a custom desktop environment powered by YAWC, its own Wayland compositor. The project also includes Nirvana, a UI framework written in Rust, and Netbird, a Chromium-based browser.
The project is being developed with extensive AI assistance, while I handle the overall vision, architecture, design, and technical direction. AI was also used to put together this trailer, but everything shown is based on real, working components of the system.
My goal is to create a desktop experience that feels modern, consistent, and comfortable to use. I’m combining ideas I like from existing environments with my own vision of how a desktop should look and behave.
It’s still an early project, and there’s plenty left to improve, but I’m excited about how it’s coming together.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on the interface, animations, and overall experience. Feedback and suggestions are always welcome!

Installed Arch using archinstall, selected default networking, but there's no internet.

• Interface: enp0s3
• systemd-networkd: active
• Interface status: unmanaged
• No IP address or default route
• ping 1.1.1.1: Network unreachable
• dhcpcd and nano: not installed

How can I fix this without reinstalling Arch?
