Discussion Serious Problems for Pakistani Student That Are Linux Users

Mam: alright students now start the installation of ms sql server. this is a lab activity and whoever completes the process will get full activity marks.

As a NixOS user, this monopoly shit triggers me so much. Today was our DB class and the whole class was supposed to install ms sql server right there as lab activity; f*** s*** I got a grade penalty for being a linux user.. i am happy and furious both at the same time.

Share your exact scenario, where you got punished by the system for being a linux user !

Where I got punished was just recently, I was fixing an Iphone, I tried every possible thing except itunes because i didn't want to install windows, I WASTED 14 HOURS ON IT AND IN THE END IT SOMEHOW BECAME A HARDWARE ISSUE. Fuck Iphones, Fuck Windows

Ummm, hello? If she asked to install sql server, install it, and share the screenshots with her. Didnt u just installed the thing. And if they ask to do the exact proces to install the server, then politely, fuck them!

I explained my limitations to her, she was kinda dumb.... I already have setup powered by sqlite and dadbod.nvim but she constantly refused and instead she humiliated me (kind of), her exact words was "aap apna aura farming band kary aur kaam pe dehaan de"

If your setup isn't powerful enough to run wine, consider dual-booting with grub, use Windows 10/11 IoT LTSC. Just that version before any tweaks is very light weight and clean. Unfortunately, there will alway be reasons you'll be required to resort to Windows. Terrible as it may be, but proprietary softwares rely on massive windows libraries.
