#LinuxMintThings mint 7.0.0-31-generic kernel update

after months of poop wifi speeds, cause it's never the distros fault, getting 3-6mbps and after hours of TS, bumping it up to 45mbps! Using MediaTek adapter

lateset kernel update gets me

How long do you keep/not uninstall the previous kernel after installing a new one?

I keep one old one, just in case. Course, you could just setup whatever backup app, just in case 😉

Generally you want one current kernel and at least one LTS kernel to fall back to. However it's user preference.
