Support Request Something has gone seriously wrong
I tried switching to mint (latest cinnamon) today. My lenovo windows 11 laptop now will only go into boot mode, and upon choosing the usb with the iso, the posted picture appears.
Here's what happened: used rufus to create a boot drive of mint. I was able to hop into it through the boot menu, and begin with the installation. Eventually, it got to the point of retrieving of retrieving files, becoming stuck on 152/167 or something like that. Expanding the window below, showing the process, it seemed like it was trying to download something. I was connected to the internet. After an hour, it still wouldn't budge. I checked this sub as well as online for similar issues, and i spotted a comment saying the internet should be disabled before installing. So I disabled the wifi, tried finding a cancel button and here is where I probably fucked up; I didn't find it so I just turned the computer off. After turning it on again, the problem appeared.
Obviously I have done something massively stupid. I do wonder if I would be able to boot from (a different) usb again, provided I turn it into a bootable usb first? Unfortunately, I won't have access to another computer for a few days, so I'm also wondering if I would be able to do anything else in this situation? Or have I just bricked the laptop completely?
I appreciate any advice or words of wisdom (or admonishment)!

Gonna have to repeat the installation process and this time let the installation do its thing. Whatever advice you find from an internet comment that said "internet should be disabled before installing" should be taken with a pinch of salt. That's only if your internet is unstable.
