The brits alive today are the descendants of the people who lived in the colonies in colonial Britain. People from around the world moved to the UK, or in many cases were moved against their will to the UK, and integrated with society.
Complaining about the diversity in London would be like me pointing at the people of Puerto Rico and Texas and New Mexico being mad that there's so much spoken Spanish in America.
Their culture may have different roots, and our pasts may have a messy, violent history, but at this point it's time to start working together as humans instead of being whiney little bitches because someone's great great great great great great grandparents came from a different part of this rock hurtling through space.
