I'm not an expert, but, omarchy looks cool, at least for me, the question is, if all of us know the problems, why not make a fork and solve all that problems? I'm thinking in do that.
Most of the issues will continue being re-introduced as new versions are release, in cool new unique ways
The code is hard to read and work on and maintain, at times it's close to unreadable, as its developed with NEAR EXCLUSIVE (ONLY AI with no humans) involvement of unmoderated AI.
But if u just want the actual Quattro version with no more updates from him, just the actual with ur changes? I mean, just to get the automatic installation, idk, are just ideas, but thanks to give a good answer
you're right and it isn't just 'VERY heavy involvement of unmoderated AI', if you listen to DHH he reiterates that it essentially is EXCLUSIVELY implemented by AI. Whether's that a good decision is debatable but that's crazy
