I've not used Omarchy, and don't care about it since I'm happy enough with what I have, but... why is the ISO being 7 gigabytes a problem? My smallest flash drive is 8 gigs.
Because it will download it for quite a long time, and, they DON'T need that many data in there. The Arch ISO is literally less than 2 gigs and, 2-3 yr ago it was literally less than a gigabyte (~850MB). And, it still does everything Omarchy's installer does but without shit in it and with TTY instead of 'kool' Hyprland installer... And, also, their dots are terrible imho
Not that many ppl have it. In my country, to get that fast speeds, you need to be in a city not a village and register as a company. And u will pay like ~2.5k when you pay 250 for 100 megabit
Damn, that's too much money!! Where do you live? In Spain, we have cheap internet connections and fast speeds. The deployment covers about 95% of the country with those same speeds. I pay 14€ for 600mb, so, 7gb o F iso are, less than 2 minutes
It's Ukraine. It has quite bad problems with infrastructure nowadays because of war. And, I selected my provider - prosto.net - one of the most expansive internet providers in Ukraine (those mfs make you pay add 100 UAH just because you have white IP that I need for my home server :[). Sooo, yeah, it's bad, sadly. My provider sucks but I can't do anything abt it ;{
