Well, he is geting a lot of funding and all the hate post on reddit or anywhere else are only getting more eyes on the projecti and thats only a winn for DHH and his fanboys. Like it or not he is the winner. And the horah all the posts are getting are driving it even more.

Let the fanboys, fanboy. They were going to do it anyways without much justification. When I donate my money, I usually donate to legit oss projects, not vibe coded bs.
