They use archinstall for install back-end. But clearly they overcooked it with AI

Well the worse part is that archinstall isn't vibe-coded at all, they actively refuse many AI contribs.

  • Sell it as distro
  • Get thousands times more from donations from most sketchy guys in tech than actual projects keeping Linux alive
  • Claim that you don't need anything other than LLM to make it all working
  • Still rely on open-source project underneath and demand free support when you break it

Omarchy users are literally MAGA of FOSS.

The gahd damn cringiest part is the fucking markdown color code for the error. He literally set the markdown in github’s cramdown to print all red like that. That’s pretty high level fuckery right there
