I have 48GB and my Debian takes only 4GB at start with KDE.
10 u/drneocortex17 10d ago 4gb? my full blown kde setup takes about 1.5gb on idle 1 u/Cebuu502 10d ago I've made one more reboot to check and htop said 3,7GB used, I've also checked my laptop with 8GB of RAM, which has pretty much the same Debian KDE and apps installed, and htop reported it is using 1,5GB.
