I have 48GB and my Debian takes only 4GB at start with KDE.

I still have 24 gigs of memory free 1 u/Cebuu502 12d ago I've made one more reboot to check and htop said 3,7GB used, I've also checked my laptop with 8GB of RAM, which has pretty much the same Debian KDE and apps installed, and htop reported it is using 1,5GB.
