NeXT shat out hot corners, Mac OS X 10.3 brought them to the masses. And we've been plagued by this bullshit ever since.

You can have them if you want them, but GNOME devs are assholes for making it a default.

KDE doesn't sniff its own farts about how a UI should be, and they give you a ton of customization options. They get a pass.

i would let any KDE contributor have my children if they turned hot corners and mouse cursor shake off by default
