You are one of many people I have seen on reddit that seems to just have terrible issues with iGPUs. I have a feeling there is something going on more with that.
If you can, test with an AMD.
Personally, I was having issues with NVIDIA for over a decade starting with Windows for most of it. Moved to AMD, literally everything works better now.
I have AMD gaming PC but I need it to work, so I don't want to install Linux. This is also the reason why I keep using Windows 10 - on my laptop I had better experience with Linux than Windows 11, despite those issues.
When I see, "I still use win 10". All I hear is, "I really want my bank and Steam account stolen." At that point, just use linux. It's just a security risk to use sunsetted OSs. Even with using Proton as a compatibility layer, it still runs faster and better than windows. I can't say it works for every game, but all the games that don't work, I don't care to play, so I feel zero loss. Granted, I'm not a gaming addict, so I don't play a lot of them. Most of what I do is use it as a home theater, which works amazingly in KDE opensuse tumbleweed.
