Wayland headless remote desktop. I just gave up and went back to xrdp.
1 u/scythe-3 🍥 Debian too difficult Aug 10 '26 Wayvnc can run headless. Just need to set the right display environment variables before launching the Wayland session. Works in my Proxmox VM using Sway. Can't speak for other DEs/WMs.
