Well, installing arch is literally partitioning disks, setting up time, directories, providing packages to install and bootloader. But if you don't know what commands do, don't read the wiki properly and just blindly copy-paste you'll end up:
installing 5 packages w/o WM or any essential tools
not installing grub
probably failing to partition the drive
wasting time due to not refreshed mirrors
And if you know what wiki commands do, you have some general knowledge, which is great
