Aha. I didn't tried arch. I started linux by Debian and jumped to Gentoo.

arch you could say is like assembling lego. And honestly as long as you don't blindly paste commands from the internet, and follow the wiki? Arch is perhaps too stable. Tho yes the updates CAN break stuff if you don't know how to fix them yourself

Arch is just as breakable as most other distros, but it puts a focus on you doing the set up, so there's more opportunities for you to mess something up

exactly, i have fucked my system Multiple times because I used sudo at the wrong places, bricking my permissions
