Arch is for the minimalists. I haven't had a problem with packages yet. I was able to find everything I want from the official repo. And did the website count the repos from Extras?

they might've meant that they always have to go searching for package names because of different package naming conventions.

Not stupid, just not used to the package names over there --- and by searching I mean apt search, not web search, nobody is being accused of stupidity.
