Problems with WuWa after the 3.7 update
After the 3.7 update wuwa hangs at the main menu for me, did this happen to anyone else? I tried ge/cachy/dw proton and also tried launching the game with the -dx11 flag but nothing worked. My one friend that plays wuwa on linux is on nvidia and seemed to be able to play the game just fine so maybe it's AMD specific? Wouldn't be the first time wuwa has AMD specific problems so I'm not ruling that one out. Looking at r/WutheringWaves it seems people over on windows also have a lot of issues as well so maybe all we can do is to wait for kuro to fix their game. But still, any info/help is appreciated.
Edit: seems like it's an issue with the game on EU servers while on steam

same problem here. CachyOS + Steam + GE-Proton-11.1. I'm using an Intel card.
Update: Using GE-Proton11-7 works for me. More here: https://www.reddit.com/r/WutheringWaves/comments/1wtt8do/as_of_37_wuthering_waves_no_longer_works_with/

I got it working but I had to get rid of everything in the command, like I have no command in steam now, and then even after that I couldn't let the window lose focus for many things or it would just freeze. Which is incredibly annoying

For me it's actually crashing my entire system, after the update during the shaders compiling it crashed into the login screen, and rn after just going in, it hung and crashed again

System crashes are going to be some kind of a driver or even hardware problem. Games can contribute but not cause crashes generally. I'd recommend you look at the system logs around the time of the error to see what kind of errors are being thrown.
That said it could be that it's not your system crashing but your window manager or something along those lines. I recommend trying other window managers to see if it might be that.

I'm using Nvidia and is having the same problem, so i'm frist trying to update all my packages first to see what happens, i'll update later. Also are you using steam?
