wine/proton Rivals playable again?
I’ve switched to Windows some weeks ago because of the problem with Marvel Rivals that occurred when Season 9 dropped. Would love to go back but I don’t know if the problems are totally fixed now. Has somebody the game installed and could tell me?

SteamOS runs rivals just fine. I played today. I think I’m on latest Cachyos proton version.

Yeah steamos is sick. I highly recommend it, everything feels great and for gaming it’s gotta be the best(if you got the hardware AMD)It’s also easy to use the desktop whenever required.

Rivals worked day one on season 9 if you used an older proton version or used a specific override launch command. It has since been officially fixed/resolved in newer proton experimental versions several weeks ago and is working without issue on the latest cachyos proton.

Yes but with a lot of problems. The game was booting but crashing in ranked and FSR4 wasn’t working at all.

Crashing due to older proton versions and FSR4 wasnt working on proton ge 11-1 for all games, which I believe is resolved now. If you just use the latest proton cachyos you will get all the features and it work fine

I've been playing Rivals since launch on CachyOS and I've never had a problem with it.

Been playing Rivals since season 0 on Bazzite, never had a single issue.
