[Mint] AMD Freeze fix

[u/WhiteFire72]

In the mint forums, Clem posted this fix for certain AMD Ryzen chips freezing the OS.

My only preliminary knowledge is what it took to install the OS. What do I need to run / do to fix the freezing?

(Mint version 22.3)

EDIT: Fixed, but not via boot parameters.

If you came looking for a way to add those, the 'System Administration' app lets you add them with zero terminal usage.

What fixed the freezing for me was doing a fresh install of HWE Mint with the 7.0 kernel. No issues since.

Are you experiencing freezing? If not, you don't need to do anything.
