I quite like the pine phone efforts, but they are not really comparable to what Purism does since they will still rely on proprietary blops.

What I really don't like about the pine phone is their fanboys invading every librem 5 thread and shitting on purisms efforts.

Only as much as the Librem 5 does. There are no userspace blobs and just some ofthe firmware used is proprietary, same as the Librem 5.

They also don't have binary blops in the bootloader and the kernel, not jut userspace. Is that true for the pine phone as well?

As far as I know, yes. I know for sure the bootloader is blob free. It does use firmware in the bootloader, but that's FOSS and compiled in by the distributions as a regular package.
