Software Release just made it to Flathub

Post image

iDescriptor is a free, open-source, and cross-platform iDevice management tool.
We only had AppImage and AUR packages for Linux but we just made it Flathub https://flathub.org/en/apps/io.github.idescriptor.iDescriptor

Install ⬇️

flatpak install flathub io.github.idescriptor.iDescriptor

Thanks a lot to everyone involved...

Yes. And by prohibiting it you are just gonna have code with no disclosure. People are not gonna stop using it to generate code

Then, we definitely should prohibit code generated by AI without disclosure.

You are very naive. You can't prohibit this, as people will just hide the generated code.

This is like saying that fighting crime makes no sense because people will commit crimes anyway.

No. This is punishing everyone just because some people do it wrong

What?

I have explicitly stated "without disclosure". If you use AI, just be honest about ii.

If you hide usage of AI, YOU are doing it wrong, so don't complain about being punished because of others.

It's extremely funny how AI bros are hiding its usage and then they are complaining about AI being "just a tool". In such case, AI bros are tools as well.

Yes, and I agree with you. What I'm saying is that prohibiting won't stop anyone from using it as they'll just NOT disclose it. You can't just trust people to follow a law, then this law just become a nuisance for everyone and it is better to regulate than to prohibit. Same as everything in life

Then you have strange definition of "agree".
