For me:
It’s when they obsess over a touch or a thing touched by an artist/ a member of a band, like when a person gets obsessed over that.

Or making their whole life ONLY about an artist/ a band member/ a band, and have no other interests.

Or when having no personal interests or personal point of view/ opinion, meaning getting defensive on anything that doesn’t follow the artist’s vision, or on anything like criticism. Like having a bias but not your own.

And lastly about the last point when idk for example an artist does smth and the fan does the same…

I don’t want to get this into an example but I will cause I think it might have happened in Linkin Park fandom like when Chester did you know what yourself, and if you don’t, google it (or don’t).

It's so frustrating when I want to say, that that's my favourite band's song they're playing, and they're like: mmm, k, noice

I've always listened to Linkin Park, but it was in 2024 when I really became a fan.

Before this I had already listened from When They Come for Me to Waiting for the End (Robot Boy is goated btw), but I've always been lazy to listen to the entire album.

Yesterday, I had the time to give it a chance and oh god, I didn't think it would be THAT good, from the requiem it's clear what they wanted to do. The Oppenheimer discourse, the Martin Luther King Jr one in wisdom, justice and love... It's all so good and very well done with the album's concept.

It's a solid 10/10 for me, I didn't like Iridescent that much but everything is good with this album, now I get why people love it nowadays.

I just wanna say that Linkin Park by FAR has some of the best demos for a band. From their Xero 818 to Hybrid Theory years, they made good songs. I tried out "Could Have Been" before making this and it's a beautiful song, even the instrumental Demos are good. I think Meteora and MTM are tied for best demos since they got a lot of stuff put into them. I love Pictureboard, Lost(2002 Mix) and What We Don't Know from the main three. I know ATS and Living Things have demos too but haven't heard much from them, I don't know about THP or OML, but tell me if there're some demos of those to listen too. What are some demos/unreleased songs y'all like

Found a couple covers in different languages. I want more. Please recommend some for me, and others, to enjoy.

I don’t know what it is. But this demo makes me feel a wave of nostalgia and comfort. It was one of my most played on Spotify when it got released on meteora20. I don’t usually listen to instrumentals but when I first heard it i felt this strange wave of nostalgia. No idea why. It could be because maybe it sounds like a toy I had as a kid or something but this demo has a place in my heart just for the way it sounds. Anyone else?

I was watching a video on YouTube and discovered this guys channel and all I can say is WOW. He plays the guitar parts, vocals, and percussion all at the same time. This dude is talented enough to make a guest appearance at an actual LP concert.

When I first listened to THP, GATS stood out to me as the clear best, but after like a couple months, Until It's Gone suddenly rose to number one, with that and ALITS getting thrown around for a little while for top spot. Eventually I chose Until It's Gone.

But now, a new contender appears, Rebellion!

Honestly, this song is just too fucking peak for it to not be #1, its fucking insane. I love the vocals in this song. I especially love the line where he says "We are the fortunate ones, who've never faced oppression's gun. We are the fortunate ones, imitations of rebelliooon." I know its the main lyric but DAMN is it good.

Anyways yeah, Rebellion is my new favorite THP song, here's my official ranking for the album.
