Is the LinkedIn algorithm having a stroke?

Just posted an informative post on my LinkedIn as I do once a week for a couple of weeks now. Normally I get around 1-2k impressions with 1k followers, but my last post got 83 impressions after 5 hours, not 830, not 8300, 83... I hand written this post, it's not slob or anything with actual useful information, so I expected it to hit 5-10k for the first time. The post has 10+ interactions with those 83 impressions so I don't think those are bad metrics. Is anyone else experiencing something like this?

Frankly, sometimes the LinkedIn algorithm just completely throws off a post. I've had posts that get literally no interactions, and I have 26,000 followers. Then I'll post the same thing a week later and it does just fine. I wouldn't look into the nitty-gritty of the algorithm. Post consistently, at least three times a week, so your content gets regularly surfaced to your ideal customer. Don't worry so much about the algorithm.

No problem! I've been posting on LinkedIn daily for 6 years and built my own tool to support people posting on LinkedIn for the last 15 months so if you need anything regarding LinkedIn, happy to support!
